Serbia Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica yesterday accused the United States of America to have by force and illegally proclaimed the false state of Kosovo in the part of the territory under NATO control. He also said that the USA had humiliated and forced the European Union to follow that policy thus forcing the EU to trample on the principles and rules it is based on. The PM repeated once again that the decision by Kosovo Parliament was null and void for Serbia, that the Government had already made such decision and that the Parliament would adopt it soon.

At extraordinary press conference at Serbia Government Kostunica accused the USA to have caused this unthinkable manifestation of force thus showing that it is ready to unilaterally, roughly and forcibly violate the international order.

‘By this act it has been shown to the whole world that America is placing force above the UN Charter and that it is ready to obstinately, arrogantly and roughly violate the international order for its military interests’, Kostunica said.

‘By application of ruthless force the USA has humiliated the EU that violated the principles it is founded on’, the PM said adding that proclamation of Kosovo independence was going to have unforeseeable consequences.

‘Today the EU stooped and that is why it shall be responsible for all consequences that shall affect the international order. This is defeat of Europe and not of Serbia that refused to bow to force’, Kostunica said adding that this act ‘clearly indicates that it is the final act of NATO aggression that began in 1999 by savage air strikes on Serbia’.

‘The real foundation of the false state of Kosovo are bombs by which NATO was destructing Serbia’, Kostunica said.

He concluded that the USA President, who is responsible for this violence and his followers ‘will be recorded in black letters in the history of Serbia but also in every history of the international law and the world order that is based on it. For Serbia, however, there shall never exist the false state of Kosovo and all citizens of Kosovo shall remain the citizens of Serbia’, the Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said.

According to his words all ministries have been ordered to work and create conditions for opening of new jobs for the citizens of Serbia and that on the day of proclamation of the false state of Kosovo the ministers are with their people in Kosovo and Metohija.

He reminded that ’since the arrival of NATO forces in KiM many Serbs have been killed or expelled and Serbian shrines destroyed and none of the murderers have been brought to justice’.

PM announced protests

Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica announced that Serbia Government would organize these days peaceful protests in the towns of Serbia not specifying any date.

‘While world powers think how they have triumphed today, millions of Serbs think about justice and freedom. Everything that we fail to do today will be done by new and better generations coming after us. The dignity of Serbia citizens is above force. As long as there are Serbs, Kosovo is Serbia’, Kostunica said.
