In Kosovo, Law Enforcement Occasionally take the Form of a Bombing, Republican Riot blog/Julia Gorin

UN probes Kosovo police role in bomb attack
United Nations police in Kosovo are investigating the possible involvement of the province’s own police force in a bomb blast last week that killed two people, a spokesman for the Kosovo police said.
Veton Elshani said U.N. police had seized seven police vehicles from a station in the southern town of Urosevac for examination, after witnesses reported seeing police vehicles at the scene before the blast in the early hours of Sept. 24.
Elshani said he could not rule out the possibility that the explosion, which tore through shops and cafes in the capital Pristina killing two people and injuring nine, was linked to the murder in August of Kosovo police officer Triumf Riza.
(I really feel for this Elshani guy. Notice that one out of three of my posts includes a statement from him; he must have to be six places at the same time every day.)
If police involvement were confirmed it would come as a blow to the credibility of the force, hailed by the U.N. mission in Kosovo as one of the major success stories in the territory since the 1998-99 war.
…since the KPS’s brutality against Serbs in its early days did not count as a blow to the credibility of the force. But let’s not dwell…they are doing better these days.
Serbia’s southern province, where 90 percent of the two million people are ethnic Albanians, has been run by the United Nations since NATO bombs drove out Serb forces in 1999 to halt the ethnic cleansing of Albanians in a two-year counter-insurgency war.
HOLY CRAP! Stop the presses! Stop everything! Let’s have that sentence again, please: “…NATO bombs drove out Serb forces in 1999 to halt the ethnic cleansing of Albanians in a two-year counter-insurgency war.”
We now have the following added context for the otherwise typical closer “ethnic cleansing of Albanians”: “two-year counter-insurgency war.” I think I first saw this a couple months ago, but didn’t comment on it at the time. So let the record show that “counter-insurgency war” has officially entered the language lexicon of Kosovo post-war reporting in the year 2007.
As I’ve noted before, every new year brings the press closer to informing the public about what happened nine years ago. Perhaps by 2009, the 10th anniversary of our bombing Europeans under false pretenses, it may finally be known that there was no ethnic cleansing of the general Albanian population, that the “counter-insurgency war” targeted…insurgents.

Julia is the first journalist that reported from the Serb prospectus . She reported more truthfuly
the Serb side . Of course she had advantage over
the other reporters . As nobody told her how to shape the stories . I gained my insight reading mostly the Serb side and the prosecutions side in the court cases . Many places the Albanian farmers would run to there Serb neihbors house , in hopes of having the Serb neihbors protect them from criminal Serbs . And there were Serb criminals robbing and murdering also . This rarely was the Kosovo police or the Yugoslav army . But often it was the Serb farmers in Kosovo that would run to their Albanian neihbors and recieve protection . This worked to evreybodies advantage untill the Nato bombing ended . The Yugoslav Army had agreed to pull out, the Kosovo police was forced out, and Al Qaeda and the KLA took over . After this I remember one Albanian farmer told his Serb neihbor , I can not protect you any more . you can have my best gun . If you leave I’ll try to protect your property . But if you stay , i can do nothing to help you now . Most Serbs left under the new U.N. protection agreement . Now the KLA terrorist are the police .Just like Alabama , the KKK was the police . The Yugoslav army did not persecute muslims or Albanians . The yugoslav army had maybe 20% muslims in it, it also had albanians in it. The Yugoslav army was the best army for policing Kosovo . The NATO bombing
of Kosovo was a INTERNATIONAL CRIME . And it established Al Qaeda and the KLA in controle of Kosovo . This is something I believe has turned out to be bad for Kosovo , europe and the United States .
Refusing to admit to this crime does not make it any better or any less of a crime . United States was the biggest bomber . America calling this crime a big victory doesnt make it true , I dont care how often it is said .
